Highlights of this City Center engagement include Harlequin & Pantalone, choreographed by hoofer, clown, and stage and screen star Bill Irwin who will also perform alongside Dorrance; Jump Monk, by tap dance legend Brenda Bufalino; and a re-imagining of SOUNDspace, the Company’s 2013 site-specific exploration of New York City’s St. Mark’s Church. Special guest Kate Davis will accompany several pieces with live music while Justin Peck, of New York City Ballet fame, will revisit his tap roots in Dorrance Dance Classics.
